Overview

Impulse Research, a full-service public opinion and marketing research firm, has significant experience and expertise in all public opinion research methodologies, including quantitative (surveys) and qualitative (focus groups and depth interviews). Since 1976, Impulse Research has used in-person, mail, telephone and Internet interviewing to tackle national and regional research studies for a variety of PR firms, major corporations, government agencies and professional organizations among respondents in the US, Canada and other English-speaking countries

In 1994 we initiated the CyberPulsetm division for the purpose of conducting on-line surveys and other types of Cyber Research. Since then we have conducted thousands of on-line projects.

In 2001 we introduced the CyberPulseTM omnibus (multi-client) survey which provides the ability to quickly, accurately and affordably poll a representative sample of 1,000 men and women in the US.

We publish the Impulse Survey of Focus Facilities, an annual directory of focus group conference/viewing rooms throughout the world, with user-ratings by moderators and researchers.

 

Impulse Research Principals

Bob Novick and Varda Ullman Novick have over 40 years of professional research and polling experience. Their backgrounds include university teaching positions in New York and California, research positions at major consumer products and advertising firms, as well as positions in broadcasting, public relations and health-care research.
